Handmade Beeswax Candles
For four generations, in a tiny town at Teotitlan de Valle, Dona Viviana Alaves and her family have been in charge of candle making. These candles are all made by hand from wax sourced by bees that live in Chiapas, Mexico. They use natural dyes and the color red comes from an insect that lives on the cactus plant. Before the wax is colored, it is molded into discs to be bleached in the sun to remove all color. This is a labor of love and very time consuming.
Candles are 12" x 1"
They are all handcrafted, 100 percent beeswax and natural dye.
