Fortune sticks are one of the oldest forms of fortune telling. Many times a Monk would hold it at an angle and shake until one would be further out. You would pick that one and match the number to the fortune in the book. This would be your fortune for the day. Really fun to have on a coffee table and it is a conversation piece with guests.
